Of Creativity and Imagination
Today was a day of productivity. Some people completed their Latin stories, other took pictures and created a story. As you scroll you will see an assortment of creativity and imagination. The picture stories are their work from Monday's photojournalism class. Yes, today we even have a history coloring contest winner!

Indoor Activities
When the rain is pouring and the wind howling, we stay indoors. Usually on break times, we bowl in the classroom, play darts, Wii, color, draw or read. With the winter months still hanging on, it looks as if we are in for many more days of indoor activities. If you have any ideas on what my class can do, in a 15 minute slot, please comment. Thank you.
Don't let the rain keep you inside. Get outside (with an umbrella and a camera) take creative pictures. The rain gives a different look to nature shots. Experiment and have fun!
Pictures from today's class will be posted tomorrow.

Photojournalism
On Monday, I will be presenting the class with this new PowerPoint. I will be teaching them how to tell a story using still pictures. This is called photojournalism. I know that if they can effective tell a story using only still pictures, when a video camera is in their hands, they will be prepared to make a video. I am going to have them take pictures at our upcoming field trip and see who can tell a story using about 7-12 pictures. Check back at the end of the week to view their photos.

The Pictures Keep Coming!
Remember to bring your cameras on Monday, 5th & 6th graders! Michael took this picture the other morning and was very excited to share it with everyone. Good job.
