Poetry Recitation

Today we had a contest on poetry memorization. I have the children many different short poems and 20 minutes. Robyn won the contest. She memorized 6 poems! Good job.



Also, the class is having a Khan contest.  They divided into four groups and are competing for the most proficiencies by Friday.  1st place gets: Slurpees and a small prize, 2nd place gets slurpees, and third place gets $2.

Lasers: Jesse, Leanne, and Clark: 101 proficiencies
Tigers: Anna, Beth, and Davis: 111 proficiencies
Arabians: Ruby, Joe, Robyn, & Tim K: 104 proficiencies
Khans: Tim, Rose, Michael: 91 proficiencies
