Seeing Creatively Class Photo Shoot

Today we went out and took a trip through the forest nearby.  The kids took hundreds of pictures of things they saw.  They shot from all different angles.  Enjoy! Please comment on the one you like.

Learning to See Creatively Part 2

The students have been taking many pictures these days.  They are trying to take creative and unique angles.  Here are their pictures.
After watching the previous post, Jesse took this picture.

Creative Macro Photography with Bryan Peterson

I've been teaching the students how to make videos.  This week, I talked to them about seeing through different eyes; seeing creatively.  I showed the above video to them and they became excited to try it at home.  I will post their pictures tomorrow.  Learning to see creatively is opening their eyes to find unique shots in ordinary life.

Basic Camera Shots

We had so much fun making this video.  Yesterday, we all storyboarded it; copying from another film.  Today we went outside and filmed it as quickly as we could.  Some of us held umbrellas to keep the cameras nice and dry, while others shot the film and acted.  Enjoy!

No Math, All Snow

Usually, we all like to finish math early, but today we wished it could have lasted much longer! Since there was only three people in 5th grade math class, Miss Williams decided to make good use of it. She took us back to the studio, where we edited a choir video. Since we all kept looking out the  window and kept commenting on the snow outside, she took us out for a video shoot.  While she was filming Joe Hier, Timmy, Clark and I chased each other throwing snowballs.

Computer Lab

Today in computer lab, we made powerpoints.  We were taught how to download backgrounds from Miscrosoft Templates online.  There are many neat design slides to choose from.  Here is a video Jane Kirk made of our computer lab.
